Our Story
Built on 40 Years of Oregon Experience
HMK Company was reopened in 2013 by David and Karen McKay, following the closure of the Project Solutions Group at Willamette Education Service District. David had joined WESD in 2002 to establish a Project Management Group serving Oregon K-12 school districts — and that same service-based mission continues today.
As your owner's representative, HMK does not self-perform construction. We work exclusively on your behalf — managing architects, contractors, consultants, and budgets so your district or agency can focus on what you do best.
Our mission is simple: lighten the capital project load on public agency staff by delivering comprehensive, transparent program management focused on long-lasting, durable, easy-to-maintain facilities.
